Sask Winter Games

Target shooting will be held during the first half of the games from February 18-21, 2018. The event will be held at John Paul II Collegiate Gymnasium in North Battleford.

To qualify for the Winter Games, athletes must be born between Jan 1, 2000 and Dec 31, 2006. Each district team will consist of 2 female pistol shooters, 2 male pistol shooters, 2 female rifle shooters, and 2 male rifle shooters.

Each athlete must qualify to attend the Sask Winter Games by earning a spot on their respective district team. To earn a spot on your district team, you must shoot a qualifying score at the Play Downs.

District Play Downs will be held at the Saskatoon Wildlife Federation indoor range on either January 13 or 14, depending on your district. Please be at the range by 9:00am for the pre-event briefing.

Jan 13: South West District, Regina District, South East District, Parkland District

Jan 14: Rivers West District, Prairie Central District, Lakeland District, and Saskatoon District

The fee to participate in the Play Downs is $25 per athlete. All athletes must also have a current STSA membership, which can be purchased at the event. Registration is open until January 10, 2018. To register, please email Michelle at stsa.competitions@gmail.com.
